By accessing and using CityJobs ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Platform Purpose

CityJobs is a job marketplace platform that connects employers with domestic helpers, office staff, and other service professionals in Nepal. We facilitate connections but do not employ the service providers directly.

3. User Accounts and Registration

Account Requirements

To use our service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Responsibilities

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

5. Job Postings and Listings

When posting jobs or creating profiles, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Comply with all applicable employment laws
  • Respect the rights and dignity of all users
  • Not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

6. Payment and Fees

Our current pricing structure:

  • Job posting is free for employers
  • Profile creation is free for employees
  • Contact unlock fees apply when accessing contact information
  • All fees are clearly displayed before payment
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

Important Disclaimers

  • We are a platform facilitator, not an employer
  • We do not guarantee job placements or employment
  • Users are responsible for their own safety and due diligence
  • We are not liable for disputes between users
  • Service availability is not guaranteed

8. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of CityJobs and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without our express written permission.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
